MANAGING ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Every week MetroCloud picks up the checks, purchase orders and related checks and invoices documents from a numbers of hospitals. The documents are scanned and uploaded to a website cloud which the clients can access from any location. Multiple levels of passwords are required for authority and access to the site. The documents are indexed by check number, vendor number and name. No IT department personnel is required since the application runs directly from an Internet website.

PATIENT ACCOUNTING DAILY CASH SHEETS

The daily cash sheets are picked up weekly and scanned. They are indexed into the following categories: cash log, patient payments, General Ledger, checks received, CPU remittance reports, Medicare/Medicaid and Empire Blue Cross. The files are processed into Adobe OCR readable PDF format. More than 16 employees use our software in one hospital to discuss payment/reimbursement issues with insurance carriers. The recovery rate and efficiency of the employees improved dramatically since they could email instantly the requisite files to the insurance carrier. In the past they had to call back to a new agent to discuss the same issue all over again since they were missing certain requested document.

MEDICAL RECORDS AND HUMAN RESOURCES EMPLOYEE FILES

Document files whether they are patient charts or employee files are scanned to electronic files to make room for new space. Files draws or shelves can take up unecessary expensive space in your office rooms that the space could be used for more useful spaces such as examining rooms, new office desk or even relocating to a smaller snd less expensive office. Another benefit to scanning your document is the effiency of accessing a particular document in seconds from the web portal as opposed to physically locating and accessing the information.

When we scan your files we usually organise them on the cloud by categories, department, users based access levels and password protection or content restrictions. We also provide a summary and detailed report of files scanned into your archived system.
